Our Vision
At The Heading Center, we are united by a shared mission: to encourage and equip the laity to share the Good News and set the world on fire for Jesus Christ.
The board of The Heading Center have identified five existing educational and evangelical ministries in Peoria in need of a home. There are undoubtedly more - please use the Contact page if you are also in need of space for your ministry.

The Building
Our dream is to purchase a building that would be not only a home for Catholic ministries in need of a physical space, but also a hub for the development of lay leaders and a place of encouragement for all the laity.
The Summons
The operational costs of the building would be covered by the five ministries that we have already identified. However, the cost of the building itself is a hurdle that we will overcome with your help. If you believe that this is a necessary and worthy cause to support, we ask you to make a financial pledge for this mission in any dollar amount. Please also name your favorite saint, and pray to them for their intercession, so that we might help the laity of Peoria flourish.
Should we succeed in opening the doors of The Heading Center, we will humbly ask you to complete your donation. Your name will be inscribed alongside a portrayal of your patron saint on a wall in the building for your support and prayers.
Should you choose to not just pledge support, but to donate right now, your donation will be securely held by St. Mark Catholic Church in Peoria while we wait for approval of our 501(c)3 status. St. Mark's is the parish that stands as a beacon on the hilltop in West Peoria, and is the church which the Center's foundress, Sarah Boley, calls home. If the Lord's will is different than ours and The Heading Center never opens, then you may choose to receive a refund of your donation or allow it to be a gift to St. Mark's.
